Just a bunch of movies that are posted on Youtube from the project in progress.

Drilling 80 holes in the bed. Parametric programmed on USBCNC. Saves a lot of time.

Milling the USBCNC logo demo with 8000 rpm, 8mm 4 flute and 3000 mm/min.

Trial milling HDPE.

Made a fly cutter to flatten the bed.

Had to make a toothed wheel for the 4 kW motor. 118 teeth 5M. Parametric programmed. One contour, repeated in a tooth multiplied by the number of teeth. Done on the divider table.

Lightening the new gantry for the mill.

Flatting a bearingstand for the new gantry.

Sequenced drilling in G83 for the ISO 40 clip.

New spindle motor and VFD test. Runs from 0 to 8000 rpm in 2 second and brakes also almost that fast.

Bought 2 machine vices from Torax. Here testing the rigidity.Rock stable!

Test drilling with the new motor. It has a lot more torque.

Went over from leadshines to Granite Devices. Steppers are running way more faster and very quiet. Not moving up to 10 meters/min.

  0

It could go faster. 600 Watt Servos with the Granite Device. Now runs 18.7 meters per minute and accelerates in 1500 mm/sec2
